The film's action centres on the 14-year-old Peter who lives alone with his mother. Peter, who is currently in the difficult phase of self-discovery, has focused all his longings on his mother. Her own unsatisfied longings mean that she is incapable of reacting accordingly to the needs of her child. Instead, she puts up a barrier without even being aware that she's doing it. Peter makes contact with a radical youth gang in his class. They are all children from the upper class. Peter's attention is directed to Axel, the gang leader, who similarly treats him as coldly as Peter's mother does. His mother becomes acquainted with a young man and, for a while, it looks as if this man has appeared in Peter's life at just the right time to help him in his self-discovery. The mother's longings are so great, though, that she takes up all of the man's time for herself and ignores Peter even more. Peter gets increasingly involved in the brutal activities of his gang and lets himself be manoeuvred into a dangerous rival position by the gang leader. Mysamma (Mukesh Rishi) is a close member of Somaraju who handles his deals in Hyderabad. Mahalakshmi (Gowri Munjal) is Somaraju's daughter. Bunny alias Raja (Allu Arjun) joins the same college as Mahalakshmi. He impresses her on the first day. Slowly, she falls in love with him. Somaraju agrees to the marriage. Raja has a condition that Somaraju should give his entire property to Raja as dowry. The rest of the story explains why Raja asks for Somaraju's property. Raja's real father is Mahalakshmi's maternal uncle. He was a great man with lots of land and property, as well as lots of regard from the government and other people. When Mahalakshmi is born, her mother asks him to perform the baby naming ceremony. On his way there, Somaraju attacks him with the help of a bunch of rowdies. They kill him and leave him to die in the forest. However, he manages to live and perform Mahalakshmi's ceremony, but he dies minutes after. Raja comes to know of this when his so-called father explains to him that he is really his godfather and not his father. While trying to save him, his godfather and godmother give up their own son to keep him alive. To regain his rightful property, Raja fights Mysamma and wins his girl.Interesting but somewhat ramshackle chunk of Freudiana adapted from a stage play, in which an escaped convict (Morris) and his associates hold a remote household hostage while waiting for their getaway transport. The house happens to belong to a psychiatrist (Bellamy), and the process by which he gradually asserts his dominance, realising that the convict is a compulsive killer who is afraid he's going mad, is persuasively done; the miracle analysis he achieves within hours (programming the killer so that he can no longer pull the trigger), is ludicrous, to say the least. The best sequence details the killer's recurring nightmare of cowering from a relentless shower of blood under a perforated umbrella, simply but very effectively staged in negative; and throughout, Lucien Ballard's deep focus compositions enhance the otherwise routine tensions.
