剧情介绍
A three-way love affair in the Rome of the early seventies. Construction worker Oreste and young fiancee Adelaide meet Nello, cook in a pizzeria. This love triangle often go to communist rallies, and enjoy the filthy beach of Ostia. Will the hostile environment leave a way to jealousy?
After their parents divorce, one daughter lives with her mother in England while the other lives with her father in Portugal. After the untimely death of her mother, the one daughter stands to inherit a large sum of money and also a number of documents containing information that will incriminate her father, who was a crooked judge. While her father wants the documents, her sister wants the money and they will each stop at nothing, even murder, to get what they want.

Description: Cannabis or 'French Intrigue' as it was called on the North American video release, is a low budget film that comes highly recommended, not least for the sight of Jane Birkin who looks absolutely gorgeous throughout the film, whether clothed or unclothed. The excellent cast also includes Serge Gainsbourg playing a chainsmoking unshaven hoodlum, Curd Jürgens and Paul Nicholas. Visually stunning, the cinematography and editing are outstanding, and the soundtrack, written by Serge Gainsbourg is fantastic. Most memorable scene, arguably, features Serge Gainsbourg in a huge Chicken coupe shooting it out with other baddies.
